All surrounded with good quality brass spandrels to the corners. The arch with further conforming spandrels and twin subsidiary dials offering “Chime /Silent" and " Chime on 8 Bells” or “Westminster”. The wonderful satinwood case having Sheraton style hand painted decoration throughout with ebony inlaid stringing.The whole raised on splayed bracket feet and the hood with 3 brass finials. Makers label inside stating “Waring & Gillows by appointment to the King and Guaranteed Manufactured at their Liverpool Factory” Condition - Very good. Dimensions:- Max.Height…85’’/ 216cm.
