Description

A WW2 era Tissot pocket watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 43, which has been tested and is working nicely. The movement is signed Tissot, Swiss and it has the serial number 1308335 which dates it back to 1942. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is argentan which is an alloy of nickel with copper and zinc. The case is in nice condition with just light surface marking from use. The inside of the case back has the Tissot name.

The lens is in good condition.

The white dial is signed Tissot. The dial has a faint hairline crack from the sub seconds dial to 11 o'clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original gold hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
