Antique Silver Longines Full Hunter Pocket Watch

An antique private label silver Longines full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding Longines movement, probably calibre 18.50, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside all three of the outer covers. The case is in good condition and the rose gold hinges are a nice feature, and a good sign of quality. The finish has worn off the winding crown after years of use.

The winding crown pushes in to reveal a glass lens which is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed with the name of the original retailer of the watch, J Heming & Co, London... Joseph Heming was listed as a jeweller and silversmith. The dial has a few hairline cracks to the top edge but only one is visible to the naked eye so not too detrimental. Original rose gold hands which tie in nicely with the rose gold hinges... the hands are lever set.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
