The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade number 20, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 6,364,383 dates it back to 1894. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and there is a little rubbing on the back but nothing too serious. The watch glass is in good condition.

The dial has a hairline crack running from number 8 to the sub seconds dial but it is faint. Blued steel hands, a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
