The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company.

The front cover has a small lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals. The front cover is opened by pressing the winding crown in.
The watch glass is in good condition. the outer glass has some surface marking from use although very acceptable.

The dial has several faint hairline cracks between 11 & 12 o,clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch has blued steel hands (including the special half hunter hour hand), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
