The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed American, Waltham, U.S.A. Traveler and the serial number 18627556 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the American Watch Case Company.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial has a very small faint hairline crack to the bottom of the sub seconds dial but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
