Antique Gun Metal Omega Pocket Watch and Chain

An antique gun metal Omega pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. As with early Omega pocket watches, the serial number and probably the Omega logo will be underneath the dial. The movement can also be identified as being by Omega from the shape of the plates. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gun metal case is in good condition and has rose gold embellishments. The early Omega logo can be found on the inside of both of the case backs.

The watch glass has the odd minor mark but nothing serious at all.

The white enamel dial, left blank for the jeweller to add their details if required, has a couple of arc shaped hairline cracks towards the perimeter.

The watch comes with a gun metal albert, 36cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
