A Waltham half hunter pocket watch, 1930.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 610, which is working nicely. The movement has beautifully patterned plates and is fully signed and the serial number 27,136,601 dates it back to around 1930. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition. The front cover has a small lens surrounded by enamel filled numbers and detail. There is some marking to this little lens, and some enamel loss but not too detrimental at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The dial is in good condition with blued steel hands (including the special half hunter hour hand), a sunken subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
