Description

A small oak longcase clock dating to the early 20th Century. It has a case of simple lines, with a flat top and a glazed door. It has an engraved brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and is signed by the well renown retailers Waring and Gillows. The weight driven 8 day movement has Westminster chimes that sound the hours and quarters on rods. The movement was made by the Peerless Clock Company of Germany.The chimes and hour strike can be silenced by levers on the dial.

Current Condition
