The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Longines calibre 18.69N, which is working nicely. The movement is signed B&Co for Baume & Co, the UK importers and distributors of Longines watches. The Longines serial number3,462,785 dates it back to 1916. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
B importer's mark, for Arthur Baume. The case is in good condition.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, W A Perry & Co, Birmingham... the writing is a little worn now. The dial is in good condition... originally there would have been painted detail to the numbers and hands but this has been removed over the years. The hands are initially pin-set.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
