The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Astoria, a brand name registered by Cyma. Originally there would have been a hinged inner cover but this has gone missing over the years.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Chester 1914. The case has some unevenness to the hinged back but otherwise is in good condition.

The watch glass has one small chip underneath the bevelled edge but overall is in good condition.
The white enamel dial looks good to the naked eye. There is a very faint hairline running between 3 and 5.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
