Description

An Antique Georgian Mahogany 8 Day Triple Fusee Musical on 8 Bells Bracket Clock. It strikes hourly on a Bell and the music every quarter. The movement is by Thomas Best of 3 Red Lion Street, Clerkenwell, London.It dates from 1770-1794.Best was also a maker of musical clocks and watches for the Dutch market. The clock is in excellent working order and is sold with a 12 Months Guarantee. The mahogany case has Brass Acorn finials and handle. The front and back doors both retain their original locks. The Brass movement also has a fine engraved pattern.
