The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Riverside grade, which is working nicely. This is a high grade movement with a star wheel regulator and patterned plates. The movement is fully signed and the serial number dates it back to 1903.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is sterling silver and is stamped 'sterling' inside the case back. The outside of the case is beautifully detailed and has gold embellishments from rose gold through to two shades of yellow gold.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition. There is a self coloured scratch by number 10 but it is difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
