Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Balloon Clock (England and France, C. 1905)

Description

A solid mahogany cased mantel clock of waisted form. The case is inlaid with satinwood fan inlays, floral garland and boxwood stringing.with brass bun feet. It has a convex enamel dial with Roman numerals and is signed by the original retailers Durrant & Son, Cheapside, London. It has a French 8 day lever platform movement supplied by Richard & Co of Paris.

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
