Gents 1950s Gruen Veri-thin Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Gruen Veri-Thin wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, bought in to be finished and cased by Gruen, and it is working nicely.

The watch measures 27.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold filled and is in good condition with just minor marking. The case back is signed inside with the Gruen name.

The lens has a couple of 2mm cracks.

The dial is in good condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
