Description

An antique Waltham pocket watch, 1918.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement, grade 235 which first went in to production in 1908 and was produced on and off until 1931. The movement has a star wheel regulator and nicely patterned plates, a good sign of quality. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 22,017,418 dates it back to 1918.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is in good condition. There are nicely engraved initials to the screw-on case back.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
