9ct gold Buren cushion cased wrist watch, 1930.

The watch has a signed 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 29mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the fixed lugs... it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist, or it would work nicely as a larger watch for a lady. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1930, together with an importer's mark for William Sparrow, on behalf of H Williamson who subsequently purchased the Buren factory. The case has some surface scratches to the back but overall is in good condition for a 1930 piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial has some hairline cracks radiating from number 4. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
