Edwardian Mahogany Bracket Clock (Scotland and France, C. 1905)

1900 - 1920
Description

A Solid mahogany cased mantel/bracket clock, in the late 18th Century style made around 1900. It has a break arch case with a brass carrying handle, canted brass corners, brass mounted inset panels and brass ogee bracket feet. The convex glass has a white enamel dial with hand decorated floral dial, signed by the original retailer Barrie & Son of Edinburgh. It has an 8 day French made movement by Marti of Paris and it strikes the hours and halves on a gong.

Current Condition

The case is in good original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
