An impressive Louis XV style , Boulle bracket clock on magnificent bracket.

Dial signed Henry Bright, Paris, mid to late 19th cent.

The two train outside count wheel bell striking movement with rectangular plates and anchor escapement regulated by a sunburst pendulum bob. The backplate stamped Vincenti & Cie. The 10" cartouche style chapter ring with a centre signed Henry Bright Paris, rococo borders and black arabic five minute outer track and pierced steel hands.

The engraved and cut brass and red shell marquetry on a wasted case surmounted by Chronos seated on a sphere applied to a concave - sided superstructure. The inside veneered in trompe l'oeil effect with Ho Ho Bird.

The ogee wall bracket in very good condition.
