The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has an unsigned Longines hand-winding movemet, calibre 18.50, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside the case backs. There are a few small pin prick sized “dings” but overall the condition is good for a piece from the early 20th Century. The small lens to the front is surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals, there is some enamel loss but only noticeable if you look very closely.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition and has blued steel lever-set hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single silver albert which measures 25cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a shorter chain which has an engraved date of Nov 23rd 1898.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
