Stunning Art Deco .925 Silver & Paste Cocktail Watch

A stunning, mechanical wind, cocktail watch from the Art Deco period in true Art Deco style. The pretty face of the watch is octaganol in shape , and has neat blue steeled hands and black numerals, set against a pale ivory coloured face. The watch is surrounded with sparkly paste stones set in a lovely pattern (see images). The side of the watch is marked .925 in an oval shape with a continental stamp (we have been unable to identify this stamp), the back is also marked .925 in two places on the back near to the strap. There is a serial number on the back: 781511. The strap is black rope style fabric and has a lever style clasp which is marked metal and works well.

 

The watch is in good working order. It is an extremely pretty watch.

 

Condition: The overall appearance of this watch is stunning, including the lovely clean face and the sparkly paste stones.

 

The length of the watch including the strap is 6 1/2 inches in total.

The length of the face including the paste setting is: 1 3/4 inches.

The width of the watch inclusive of winder is 0.58 inches.
