Small French Marble Portico Mantel Clock (France, C. 1890)

Description

A small Veined marble mantel clock dating to the late 19th Century. It has a drum clock case mounted on semicircular platform, supported by four columns. The case has applied ormolu decoration and a sunburst pendulum that swings with tick of the clock. It has floral decorated enamel dial and is signed by the original retailer L Rocer of Nantes. It has an 8 day movement that sounds the hours and halves on a bell and was made by A.D. Moudin.

Current Condition

The case is in original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking and the pendulum swinging please email us.
