Scottish Drumhead Regulator - Hollingwood Glasgow

Description

A Rare Scottish ‘Drumhead’ Regulator. The case has superb proportions and has been made with great skill from solid Oak. The movement is typical of high quality Scottish clockmaking, with a Deadbeat escapement and maintaining power. It has a very large brass faced Pendulum Bob and unusually, features an hourly strike on a bell. Made and signed by Hollinwood of Glasgow circa 1850-60. Guaranteed and delivered .
