Description

1930s silver Vertex pocket watch and albert.

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover upon which is a long service inscription from ICI.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1932, with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific producer of watches for various watch manufacturers. The front of the case is in good condition. The hinged back has engine turned detail which is still nice and crisp. There is a cartouche to the centre although it has some marking.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial is in beautiful condition.

The watch comes with a silver albert, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
