Description

A 1930s stem winding Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 1609, which is working well. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 29257536 which dates it back to 1936. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a presentation inscription.

The watch measures 50.9mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The glass lens has minor marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham, U.S.A and is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
