The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a key-wound movement, Home Watch Co grade, which is working nicely. The movement is signed and the serial number 5,286,692 dates it back to 1892.
The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.

The case is in good condition, just the slightest hint of unevenness to the back but nothing serious at all.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition with original hour and minute hands, outer minute markers and a subsidiary seconds dial.

The watch comes with a double silver albert which is a bit later in date than the watch, early 1900s. Each chain measures 24cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a silver fob with a partial rose gold overlay, upon which are engraved initials.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
