Mahogany Double Fusee Dial Clock

Description

A Mahogany double fusee striking dial clock dating to the mid 19th Century. It has a turned mahogany rim, a cast brass bezel with a bevel edge glass. The case has a domed top and base with brass side grills. The 8 day double fusee movement sounds the hours on a bell. The dial is signed by the maker Dobell of Hastings. Ebenezer Dobell is listed as working 1855-78.

Current Condition

The case is in good original condition, the dial has been restored and the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
