The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Equity Watch Company, Boston, U.S.A. 7 jewels.
The watch measures 50.2 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company .

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens … often the glasses lenses were replaced with acrylic when they broke, a much more durable material.
The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack at 1 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
