Delightful Small Longcase Clock with Brass Dial & Silvered Chapter Ring. Inscribed Porthouse Penrith - They were a family of Clockmakers in the 18th and early 19th Century. William(l) b.c. 1706 Working 1740-d 1790, George (l) b 1716-d1770 Brother of W (l), John b1728 (son of W. (I)) d 1787, William (ll) b1736 (son is W. (I), George (ll) son of W. (I) b1743-d1817.

The 8 Day Movement has been Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Full and Good Antique Working Condition Striking the Hours on a Crisp Clear Bell. Standard Long Pendulum and 2 Very Heavy Brass Cased Weights.

Height 63.75in or 161.5cm. Width 32cm. Depth 24.5cm

This is the same as a Traditional Full Size Longcase Clock but is the Size of a Grandmother or Granddaughter Clock.
