Gents Rolex Oyster Speedking Precision Wristwatch, Vintage 1945

This is a very stylish Gent's vintage Rolex Oyster Speedking Precision wristwatch in a stainless-steel case. The watch has a beautiful white dial with centre seconds and Roman numerals. The watch has its original screw-down crown which is signed 'Rolex Oyster'. The case is 31mm in diameter, excluding the crown. The case is numbered 385,077 which dates this timepiece to 1945. This Rolex has a manual wind, 17 jewel movement with a patented super balance. The screw-off case back is also signed RWC Ltd to the interior. The watch is currently sporting a very good quality Hirsch alligator embossed leather blue strap with a stainless-steel buckle.

This watch has been fully serviced by a professional horologist and comes with a copy of the service document. The dial has been cleaned and is now flawless, as is the glass. The stainless-steel case has been polished. The hands have been polished slightly, but not so much as to remove their aged patina, this being a World War II period watch. The movement runs beautifully and the watch keeps excellent time, as one would expect from a watch produced by this renowned manufacturer.
