Ww2 British Royal Naval Issue Pattern 300 Pocket Watch No 1265, Circa 1939

Description

For sale is this excellent WW2 British Royal Naval issue pattern 300 pocket watch no 1265, circa 1939.  The watch is in excellent condition with the case showing light service wear to the nickel plated 53mm screw front and backed diameter case. The dial is in excellent condition free from damage or hairlines and still retains its original deep blued hand set. The movement is unsigned has been fitted with a new main spring and oiled, regulated, and is now in excellent working order. The Admiralty issue Pattern 300 is now thought to have been issued for submarine use. This watch is sold with an original copy of Britain’s Glorious Navy circa 1945 which is in good condition. An interesting book on the working practices and daily life in British Royal Navy at that time.
