Antique 1913 silver Harris Stone pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped 15 jewels adjusted, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little marking but nothing too serious.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1913, with a maker’s mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and a few small "dings" to the outer edge but overall it is in nice condition for a 1913 piece.

The glass lens has a small nibble to the outer edge between 4 & 5 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Harris Stone Leeds. The dial has several very faint hairline cracks at 11 o'clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes on an antique silver albert chain with Birmingham hallmarks for 1900.

The longer chain measures 33cm including the T bar and clasp. Each link of the chain has the lion passant mark.

The chain has a silver fob with Birmingham hallmarks for 1934.

The chain and fob weigh 24 grams in total.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
