Description

A fine brass carriage clock dating to the late 19th century. It has a polished brass case, with filigree bands, reeded pillars and turned finials. The enamel dial has a fine embossed gilt mask and is signed (indistinctly) by the original retailer Elkington & Co. The sides have skeletonised embossed gilt panels through which the movement can be seen. It has an 8 day movement with a lever platform. comes complete with a brass double ended key.

Current Condition

The case has been polished and lacquered so that it will not tarnish, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
