Description

Gents Longines wrist watch, 1950.

The watch has a 12.68Z hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and the serial number 7966954 dates it back to 1950.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition for a 1950 piece with light surface marks and a couple of small “dings” to the back, nothing too serious at all.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial appears to have been professionally re-finished at some stage. Feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
