8 Day Fusee Wall Clock by Joseph Alborn of Windsor C1883

19th century
Description

Really super quality and fully cleaned / serviced 8 day 12'' Fusee wall clock by Joseph Alborn of Windsor, circa 1883.

In excellent condition and running very well, keeping excellent time.

Mahogany case and the dial itself all in good condition, original brass bezel and hands.

The rear case box has two access doors, one at the right side and one below, also there are two further fixing points to the bottom corners...these are very useful to keep the clock in position when you have hung it, only needing a small nail or pin to hold.

There is a strong fixing point to the top of the rear box itself.

Super clock in great condition, fully restored and ready for many many years of excellent time keeping for you...these clocks have no chime, they are just a time piece.

Measuring:

15'' or 38cm maximum width

12'' or 30cm across the dial itself

6'' or 15cm depth

Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £55, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
