The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Moeris, 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The 10ct gold filled case is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company . The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition. The inner back covers have some surface marking from use.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. Original glass lenses were often replaced with acrylic as it is much more durable.
The white enamel dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
