A large 1919 Elgin pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed with the Elgin Nat'l Watch Co, U.S.A. seven jewels and it has the serial number 21960127 which dates it back to 1919 when it was included in a run quantity of 1000.

The watch measures 58.8mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop so it is a larger than the standard 50mm pocket watches. The case was made by the Keystone watch case company and is made of Silveriod. It is a good solid case with a screw-on bezel and case back. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial is enamel and it is signed Elgin U.S.A. and is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes on a vintage nickel albert chain.

The chain measures 30 cm long including the T bar and clasp.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
