The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. An antique winding key will be included (from a Derby jeweller). The watch was made by the Lancashire Watch Company and retailed by J G Graves. The movement is protected by a fitted inner dust cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
The case has a couple of fairly small indentations but overall very acceptable for such an early piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition.
The enamel dial is signed The "Express" English Lever, J G Graves, Sheffield. The dial has a couple of hairline cracks but only one is visible to the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
