The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement with 15 jewels ,which is working well. The movement is stamped with the Cyma calibre number 998. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the American Watch Case Company.
The front cover has a small lens surrounded by black enamel filled Roman numerals.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside the acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial has a faint hairline cracks at 4 & 11 o'clock although hardly noticeable. Note the special hour hand for half hunter watches, so that the hands can be distinguished between when the front cover is closed.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
