Description

An antique silver Improved Patent English Lever pocket watch by the Lancashire Watch Company.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch itself measures 55mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop so very slightly larger than a standard pocket watch (usually 50mm diameter). The case is silver and there are hallmarks in both of the back covers for Chester 1901 with a maker's mark for Thomas Hewitt of the Lancashire Watch Company. The case has the odd minor mark but overall the condition is good for a piece of its age. The inner silver cover is engraved with the name Walter Buckle, 1905.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial is in very nice condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
