A gun metal 'Magno' pocket watch retailed by Herbert Wolf Ltd.

Herbert Wolf was a jeweller and diamond mounter with branches in London, Liverpool and Manchester. He was the grandson of Shriener Wolf, a 'curiosity dealer' and Matilda, a jeweller. Harriet Samuel was also from the same family and went on to become the jeweller H Samuel.

This particular watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gun metal and is in good condition for a gun metal piece, just a little marking to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition, just a couple of very faint short hairlines, barely visible through a magnifying loupe.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
