1940s Longines Pocket Watch and Albert

Description

A 1940s Longines pocket watch and albert.

The watch has a 37.9 ABC 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely, the ABC denotes a thinner movement (abaissé in French). The movement is signed with the Longines name and the serial number 6,681,394 which dates it back to 1943.

The watch measures 44.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and it is in very nice condition. The inside of the case back is signed Longines.

Both the lens and the dial are in good condition.

The watch comes on a single albert which we believe to be original to the watch, it measures 18cm long.

The watch and albert will be sent in a new presentation box.
