A 1920s Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1920s Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, which is working well. The movement is signed A.W.W.Co. Waltham. U.S.A. Traveler and it has the serial number 24831966 which dates it back to 1924.

The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. It has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the back but overall is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The inner dust cover has light surface scratches from the back being opened over time.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham, U.S.A and is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
