The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Marquis grade, which is working nicely. It is fully signed and the serial number 17,772,450 dates it back to 1909. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1907, with a maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific case manufacturer who supplied cases for many Waltham pocket watches. The hinged case back has some unevenness.

The watch glass is in good condition.
The watch comes with a single silver chain, 27cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
