1908 Waltham Bond St Hunter Pocket Watch & Chain

Antique Waltham Bond Street full hunter pocket watch with unusual albert.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 17,319,696 which dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little scratching from where it has been opened in the past.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific case maker who supplied various watch manufacturers. The case has some surface marking, and a little unevenness to the back, but overall very acceptable for such an early piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The signed dial has four faint hairline cracks, difficult to see with the naked eye.

The watch comes with an unusual watch albert, 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
