The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is signed and the serial number 19422595 dates it back to 1913. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 34.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific producer of watch cases who had a close association with Waltham. The case is beautifully detailed and there is a vacant cartouche to the reverse.

The glass lens is in very nice condition.
The signed enamel dial is also in lovely condition.
The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub second hand.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
