Description

A mid-size 1950s Art Deco Rensie wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Rensie Watch Co, a Zürich based company who registered the name in 1945.

The watch measures 27mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is gold plated. The front is in good condition while there is some rubbing around the edge of the case back.

The lens has a small chip in one of the corners but it is not immediately noticeable to the naked eye.

The signed copper coloured is in its original finish. There is a little marking but not too detrimental at all.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
