Description

1923 silver Longines pocket watch with silver chain and swivel.

The watch has a 18.69N stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and the serial number 4,095,387 dates it back to 1923. The movement is protected by an inner cover upon which are details of medals won in exhibitions.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside the case back, together with the EF Co Longines logo, EF being the initials of Ernest Francillon, the founder of Longines. The case has light surface marks from use but nothing too detrimental at all.

The watch glass is in good condition, just a tiny nibble to the bevelled edge.

The signed dial is in good condition too.

The watch comes with a silver chain, 38cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
