The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss 7-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company . The case has crisp engine turned detail to the front and back with a coin edge. the case has the odd small "ding" to the front and back but overall it is in nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. Original glass lenses were often replaced with acrylic as it is much more durable.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
