Description

1941 mid-size Waltham wrist watch, boxed.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, grade 887, which is working nicely. The movement is signed and the serial number 30874131 dates it back to 1941.

The watch itself measures 21mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 10ct rolled rose gold filled and it is signed inside the case back Premier Waltham. It is in good condition.

The curved lens has a small patch of scuffing but not too noticeable to the naked eye.

The signed copper coloured dial is in its original finish. There is some marking towards the edges. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in its original Waltham Premier presentation box, it is tatty but still good to have.
